During tunnel project installation, LED strip lights need to consider several factors to ensure safety, efficiency and durability. Ensure that the selected LED strip light meets the relevant safety standards, such as explosion-proof, waterproof, corrosion-resistant, dust-proof, etc. applicable to the tunnel environment.

Lighting requirements in tunnels are high, and LED lights with sufficient brightness and moderate color temperature should be used. High color rendering index (CRI) and cool white color temperature (e.g., 5000K-6500K) are usually recommended to provide a clear line of sight. Light strips should be evenly distributed across the tunnel walls and/or top to avoid visual discomfort or safety hazards caused by uneven light.

Many tunnels are built in mountainous areas or in underground environments, which may contain moisture, dust, vibration, etc., so the LED light strips need to have a certain degree of durability and shock resistance. Installation location should avoid direct exposure to the vehicle may hit the location, choose in the wall or ceiling of the safe position.

In the pre-engineering stage, easy maintenance and replacement of LED light strips should be considered for easy disassembly and repair. Ensure that the power cable is long enough and safe, and avoid the power cable being exposed or damaged.

Before construction, be sure to confirm the quality and safety of the product, obtain the necessary licenses and certifications, and ensure that the project meets national and local tunnel lighting standards before proceeding with construction and installation.
