Connecting the light strip: For plug-in connectors, simply insert the plug at one end into the socket at the other end. Make sure the plug is fully inserted and locked into place to avoid poor contact that could cause the light to not come on or flicker.

For light strips that require soldering, clean the section to be soldered, then use a soldering iron to melt and apply solder wire to the metal contacts. When finished, check that the solder joints are secure and there is no risk of short-circuiting.
